OLD NEWS-

Mississippi Palisades Trip: 
    The new cost is $25 (because we're camping)
    To sign up contact Kevin
    There will be a Trip Only Meeting on October 9th at 7 pm in the Braves Room
    The last day to sign up/pay for the trip is at this meeting

Dues were due today!
   But were extending it to the Sunday the 5th
   If you still need to pay your dues contact Josh
   (when you speak with him.. give him your tshirt size)

Tshirt designs were chosen- 
    The shirts will be maroon with white lettering-
    To receive a shirt... pay dues and give Josh your size by the 5th

We're working on club only climb time for: Thursdays at 10 pm
    If we get this timeslot.. we will be changing our meeting time to this-

Our Next Regular Meeting
     Will be Thursday, October 16th at 10 pm!!!!  ***note the changed time!!!****
     We'll probably be planning some more events like cookouts, climbing comps, and other fun things... - as well as the wall's opening and probably handing out tshirts!

Final Note:
After the 16th we will be cutting down our email list to only those who have paid dues/are club members-
Announcements and minutes will still be posted on the website

1-   CLIMBING TRIP TODAY(October 1st) -  we're going to Upper Limits-    There will be 2 groups going-  leaving at 4 and 6   (meet in front of the parking deck)
If you're not driving: give your driver $2-4 for gas  (and no one likes to ask for $.. so if youre not driving.. hand it over!)
If you've never climbed with us before... nows the time to start! so dont be shy!!!

2-  MEETING on Thursday at 7 pm in the Student Center Braves Room  (same as usual... towards the back of the Alumni dining cafeteria area..) we'll be ordering Tshirts, talking about our Palisades trip, and a few other things!
Remember: Dues are due on Thursday!  $20 for the entire year (cash please!.. it makes it way easier for us)
Payment for the trip is also due....

3-  THE TRIP COST IS REDUCED!!!  Due to the fact most people want to camp instead of hotel it... it will now be $25 to go climb at the Palisades!
This trip will be Friday at 4 to Saturday night (October 10th to 11th)-    and the payment includes dinner friday night, breakfast, and lunch on Saturday-  (as well as gas, campsite, and equipment)

4-  If you wish to attend the trip, or need to pay your dues and are not able to attend Thursday's meeting

(remember: only those who have paid dues will receive a club tshirt, be able to attend club trips, use club equipment, and when the Markin center opens, climb during club only climb time!!   among other things..)
